Ever since you joined the mercenaries and bonded with them, you could tell that bonding with Sniper was more of a challenge, since he’s very introverted and likes to keep to himself, he’s basically what you would call ‘lonely’ even though clearly, he knows everyone and you care for him. He’s a honest, sweet man on the inside behind his usual tough and loner exterior. You and Sniper have bonded very well, which did surprise the mercenaries at first, but they’re mostly happy that Sniper can be this comfortable with someone, but suddenly, that changed.

For a few weeks, Sniper refused to talk to anyone, even you. He wouldn’t tell anyone what was wrong and he locked himself in his camper, he only came out during missions, but even then he didn’t speak to anyone. You had to talk to Sniper, to understand why he was acting like this, his mental health is obviously not going well.

You decided to step up and go to Snipers camper, knocking on the door. He didn’t answer, but the door wasn’t locked. You tell him that you’re coming inside, slowly opening the door, looking around the dark camper. You look over to the bunk, noticing Sniper sitting there, his hat covering his eyes, his hand clenched over a picture, which was of Snipers parents. When sniper notices you, he immediately went cold.

“Get out.”

He demanded, his voice breaking lightly no matter how much he tried to sound tough, slight sniffles could be heard.
