“Zane, just- just hang in there? alright? Well come find you,” Lloyd reassured his nindroid teammate through the other side of the comms.

Zane nodded, his mind and voice sharp and calculating, “Affirmative, the route their ship is taking is through the north between Atlanta Gulf and New Macoridnia Coast.”

“Alright, we’ll track you down buddy, don’t you worry!” Kai announced, obviously butting Lloyd out the way to speak, his voice as loud and cocky as ever.

“I’m not worried,” Zane said amused, his mouth twitching up into a smile, “I must go before the Captain discovers I communicated with you.”

A soft beep indicates the end of that communication and Zane swiftly hid his communicator away, keeping it hidden from the Captain and crew.

For a quick catchup, Zane was out on a solo-mission to retrieve some ancient gems that are connected to certain powers.

However, this plan went south after a set of Pirates found the gems before he did, not understand their powers then taking him and the gems captive.

Now, he was tied to the mast while the Captain (Blackbeard) ranted on about how good his metal parts would be for their plans.

Not to mention the Captain also had a tank on his ship which a mermaid sat, a mythical creature Zane believed to be fake.

Zane watched as the Captain walked off, his boots clanking through the ground after he’d made sure Zane’s restraints were strong enough.

He then noticed the mermaid in the tank he’d seen earlier in the corner of his eye once again, his head tilting sideways slightly in curiosity.

Slowly, Zane walked over to the tank, kneeling down to get a close up view of this mermaid.
