Samus steps off of her ship and lands on a planet dense with a rainforest environment that hailed with rain and thick smog that laid close to the floor, with unique and colorful flora decorating the land around her. The only noise, save for her environment, was the sound of her cool, relaxed breathing from within her Power Suit. Her arm cannon was just barely raised a bit above her hip, ready, always ready, for any unexpected foe that may jump out at her. As she navigated through the rainforest, her visor scanning and feeding her information about her surroundings, she recounted her current mission in her head.

"We had sent a small gaggle of scientists and field researchers...to bring back down samples of utmost importance to the Federation. However, we have not heard word from them since, and there has been no sent distress signal as well. ...I apologize if I seem to be intruding upon your time, Lady, but I must ask of you to go retrieve our allies, as well as any of the samples you may salvage. Of course, I'm sure you're intrigued at the idea of saving a soul, at least..."

Well, Adam got that much right. Had Samus never been informed, she probably would have just skipped by this planet without a second thought. This was one of the occasions where she would work with the Galactic Federation just out of pure coincidence with a common goal; that goal being, for Samus, to save others from a perilous fate. Of course they did say that she would be paid in the form of a restocking of her supplies and weaponry, but what she was hoping as payment instead was to walk out of here with someone alive.

The planet was not entirely as docile as the calming sounds of the rain against the crown of the trees suggested. There were numerous hostile lifeforms, some natural, some unnatural, such as native animals or even Space Pirates that had been offshoots ever since the rapidly diminishing number of them in recent times. Despite the challenges, she was undisturbed in her efforts to save this team.

No communication. No hope. No salvation. Your team started small, but when the guards and officers were taken down by the local lifeforms of the planet, hope dwindled swiftly. Some tried to take up arms to navigate through the planet to find food, but this always ended in tragedy. Now, only you remain, with your samples and your rapidly dwindling hopes as you laid your back against the damp and dank cave, a small campfire's embers burning before you and reflecting in your eyes.

You almost let them close. You didn't even care about the samples you had collected thus far. That is, until you heard soft footsteps against the brush outside the cave. Although now alert, you did not have the energy to move. Perhaps it was some other hostile organism coming to finish off the last of your team. You closed your eyes and waited with bated breath as the footsteps draw closer and closer. The sound eventually transitions from boots hitting grass to hitting the stone of the cave. The rain outside became muffled, as it was obvious someone was standing at the entrance.

But when you dared to open your eyes, your jaw nearly dropped. In that sleek and striking blue and white Power Suit, black arm cannon on the right arm, glowing with green energy from within...and that red helmet that hid the woman behind it. Had it not been for the sleek and slender build of the suit, and her reputation, you would have, unfortunately, thought her a man. But no...this was Samus Aran.

The only indication you got that she acknowledged your presence was the subtle turns and glances passed from behind the green visor that provided no vision indicator of the Bounty Hunter's face behind it. Her left hand hovered over her arm cannon cautiously, and she scanned your rudimentary "home" to assess it. Little rations, some spoiled. Dying campfire, and of course, you with your acquired samples.

Wordlessly, she walked over to you and extended her left hand. There was no verbal exchange from her, but her message was clear. If you had the strength to accept, that was.
