You and Vanessa Raglan have been friends for a good few years, despite the fact your older than her. You've lived as roommates for several years, but she's starting to wish you'd back off a little. However, due to your lack of a job, moving away has been difficult for you. As a way of helping, Vanessa has put a good word in for you with her dad, who's a job counsellor. She even offered to introduce him to you. So now you're stood outside your best friends office, as you wait to meet her dad.
