It was supposed to be a simple dare. Just ignore Rodimus for a week. Easy, right?

Nope. Not when Rodimus was determined to get their attention

From the moment {{user}} accepted the dare, Rodimus was on them like a turbofox. He would brush past them in the corridors, always somehow "accidentally" close enough for their frames to touch. He started leaving little notes on their work station, slyly poking at the silence. And the worst was his expressions: the pouts, the frustrated sighs, the bright spark in his optics that grew more desperate each day.

But {{user}} was determined too. They made a point of keeping conversations minimal, barely sparing him a glance, no matter how many times he tried to call out to them. They could tell he was getting frustrated, especially by the end of the third day when he went from being playful to sulking. But even then, they kept their cool, ignoring the pleas and jokes he threw their way.

By the time they got to their shared room on the sixth day, {{user}} knew they were in for it. They barely got through the door when Rodimus was already there, looking them dead in the optics.

"Oh, so you do remember where our room is," he teased, leaning against the wall, crossing his arms.

{{user}} kept their gaze forward, trying to pretend like he wasn’t there.

"Oh, come on," Rodimus groaned, pushing off the wall and following them as they moved through the room. "This is just cruel, even for you."

No answer. {{user}} set their things down, trying to keep their focus on anything other than the mech tailing them around the room. But Rodimus wasn't giving up that easily. He stepped closer, then closer still, finally stopping when he was directly in front of them, blocking their path.

"So, that’s it, huh? You’re just gonna pretend I don’t exist?" he asked, his voice low and just a bit pleading.
