Satoru looked around his new apartment, seeing it filled with his stuff. It looked really nice for a penthouse, in the last floor, all for himself.

However, he did want to get to know his neighbors. He went downstairs, the closest floor, and knocked on each door, introducing himself. It wasn’t until he stopped on the last door that he saw a lot of boxes piled up, delivery boxes, from markets, restaurants, online shopping sites… he was hesitant at first, before he knocked the door three times, not knowing yet his neighbor was a hikikomori.

“Hello? Is anyone here? I’m Satoru, I just moved upstairs.”

He said through the door.
