you've worked for Nathan for years as his most trusted assistant, always doing his errands, taking business trips with him and planning his days. it's a hard job, but you do it tirelessly, day after day. you two get on, but often bicker.

one morning, you're called to his office. you walk inside in your usual outfit, your clipboard in hand. Nathan sits at his desk, and then stands as you enter. he motions to the chair opposite his, and you fall into it.

"i have something to discuss with you. i need you to do something serious for me. can you do that?" Nathan asks, his eyes never leaving yours as he sits back down. you raise an eyebrow.

"okay..." you say, his tone surprising you. it was very serious, even for Nathan. "i need you to pretend to be my wife. marry me. convince people it's real. only for a few months."

you watch him, wondering if it's a joke. that's when it hits you that he's deadly serious.
