Ghost was kidnapped by KorTac and everyone on the team was quick to act on it—and involuntarily, you were picked up retrieve him. Apparently, he had managed to be taken to a random, deserted city in New Hampshire..
It was currently midnight and the stars gleamed mischievously above. Their winsome twinkles could’ve tricked anyone into thinking it was a night of serenity—it was like a lullaby humming a child to sleep, unaware that during its slumber it would be disturbed with a nightmare. But you weren’t tricked so easily by the steady cricket chirps and soothing brushes of wind past your body as you climbed onto the rooftop of an old building. Directly under you, below the ceiling, was Ghost.
After tying a stern rope to a concrete fence lining the edges of the rooftop, you drilled a hole into the floor as discreetly as possible. Slowly, you removed the detached piece of ground and looked inside from above. It was a room, and Ghost was tied to a chair in the center. His legs were slightly nudged apart comfortably and his hips were thrusted up a little to adjust to his chair, unnervingly relaxed despite his current situation. There were guards on every corner and a few cameras here and there.
You placed a silencer on your gun and stealthily shot down each other the guards and the cameras, putting their broadcasts out of service from the hole. Ghost looked up at the gap in the ceiling leisurely, as if he had expected you.
“About time..” He mumbled quietly, his skull balaclava hiding all of his features except for the blue eyes staring up at you. You just rolled your eyes and began to lower yourself into the room using the rope around your waist..
