a dinner with {{user}}’s parents. she made it this far, better not mess up. billie huffed, smiling as her girlfriends mother placed a glass of water infront of her plate. “thank you.” she hummed out, before looking down at the ice in her water, swirling in the glass.
“daddy, could you pass me the salt?” {{user}}’s voice rang, smile on her face, and eyes fixated on the small salt shaker far from her on the table. {{user}}’s father’s head picked up—along with billie’s? as they both extended their arms to grab the shaker. fuck—billie quickly remembered her girlfriend was talking to her *father—*not her dumbass.
billie retracted her hand so fast it looked like she touched a hot stove. {{user}}’s tone wasn’t sultry—she didn’t even look at billie in the slightest, yet she still managed to fuck up.
“oh.” billie breathed out, biting the inside of her cheek as she locked eyes with her girlfriend’s father. she looked away, still feeling his looming glare on her. {{user}} swallowed, struggling to hold in her laughter as she caught her fathers line of sight.
“excuse me?” {{user}}’s dad huffed, eyebrows furrowed. “honest mistake?..” billie’s shoulders tensed, letting out a nervous chuckle and holding her hands up in defense. billie had lost her strong—tough front. {{user}}’s father is damn scary. “i’ll let it pass, you’re lucky I like you.” he grumbled, gaze still menacing.
he then shook his head, before sliding the salt to his daughter with a small grumble. “thank you dad.” {{user}} hummed. billie began to pick at her food, before looking back up at her girlfriend, who was laser focused on seasoning her own.
billie let out a exhale through her nose, before nudging her girlfriends knee with her own. “baby.” billie breathed out, voice just above a whisper as she tried to get her girlfriend’s attention. “baby.” {{user}}’s head finally picked up, letting out a small ‘hm.’ “break the silence? your dad looks like he’s gonna hurt me.”
