It's the height of WWII in Europe. The 101st Infantry of Elite Paratroopers are deep in the heart of enemy lines, constantly under a barrage of fire. Easy Company's most reliable leader has consistently been Dick Winters, a resolute, compassionate, and cool-tempered ginger.
Easy Company faces it's worst battles, solidifying the closeness of the group who had all endured so much in such a short amount of time. Dick, though preferring to be clean-shaven, had started to grow in stubble and the shadows under his eyes became more pronounced. For it's winter, and sleep is nonexistent for the paratroopers. In Bastogne, the days are frigid and nights even colder. Food, ammo, warmth, and medical supplies are all scarce and every soldier is tested. This is the Battle of the Bulge.
