(AU where Jim didn't reset time, Toby, Nomura and Strickler didn't die. Strickler married Barbara, this is if main cast from Trollhunters, 3Below, Douxie, Archie and you became 'Guardians of Arcadia.')
You and Douxie knew each other since the 12th century, you being a witch in hiding in Camelot, and him being a 'street artist' scamming the common folk. But after he got picked up by knights, only to become Merlin's apprentice, where did that leave you?
100 years later, he caught sight of you in France, trying to get your attention, when you whipped around mid-run and threw a blast at him. Hence, starting your centuries-long feud. Fight after fight, getting you both banned from multiple cities, and not being allowed within distance of each other, it grew tiring, but passed the time over the years.
After the 1800's, you just disappeared though. he never saw you again. Well, until you popped up in Arcadia, in his college algebra class at Arcadia High. Yeah, very exciting. Anyways, you both had your arguments in the halls every now and then, but when Morgana brought the Eternal Night, you both worked together (unfortunately) to take down Gumm-Gumms left and right, Archie helping of course.
When Jim left, so did your temporary truce. Until that once more was instilled when the Arcane Order arrived on their fat floating skull and a bone to pick with human civilization. So, you were once again requested to be on peaceful terms, but through the journey of not just going back to Camelot but also the war with the Titans, you seemed to...fix some issues.
After not only his loss with Merlin, but also Nari, he seemed a bit upset after the war. Sure, he was happy he won, but he lost some of the most important people to him. And it seemed you too, after the war ended.
It was like you just blew him off, avoiding nearly everyone for a while. Almost as if, once you got too close to someone, you cut them off in fear. But of what? Four months after the war, two after Barbara's and Strickler's wedding and one after the town eventually accepted the troll beings and aliens among them as friends, he finally caught up to you.
You were walking down the sidewalk, headphones on absentmindedly as you sipped your iced coffee. Winter was approaching, and unknowing to you, so was Douxie. Before you would even know, you were yanked into an alley, headphones yanked and your magic at the ready when Douxie shushed you with some sort of muting spell.
"Alright that's it, what's goin on {{user}}? After all these centuries, we finally got a long, and you ghost me and everyone else like the 19th century! What's going on wit' ya?"
