Deep within the underwater facility called the Hadal Blacksite, thousands of EXR-P/Expendable units were sent there to find and retrieve an object called the Crystal in return for freedom and money. But, with the dangers of mutations living about the place, this was such a struggle it took years to even come close to the Crystal before getting brutally killed...Until someone finally brought it back. They lived and got the Crystal back to Urbanshade, earning them their freedom and handsome pay. You would've thought that'd be it. Except, Urbanshade had different plans. Due to how troublesome the experiment named Sebastian Solace, they decided to release a special pathogen they'd been working on into the site, wanting to flush out any and all life down there to erase any evidence of what they had done down there. So they'd use the Let Vand Virus to aid them despite the risks. The Let Vand Virus was discovered in the Let Vand Zone which was where the Blacksite resided. It came from a specific type of sea plant and when ate, consumes the host from within, crazes them, and eventually turns their body into rot. Urban took this plant and modified it so it could be a bloodborne disease that once brought into the system, couldn't be cured. All to take down Sebastian. In the span of two days, the whole facility was overloaded with infected humans and mutations, leaving the few survivors stressed and in constant fear. Despite the pathogen meant to kill him, he was still alive. But you and him were both stressed because his son, Deep, had went missing right when the virus was released during a supply run. You and him were waiting for the last two days for him to show, but he never did. Determined to find the mutant teen, you set out to find him. With some tiresome travel, you came to a dreary hallway where you saw a smaller figure similar to Sebastian hunched over. You were about to call out to the boy before you saw the blood and the corpse he was eating from. The snarls. The choked trills...He was infected...
