You lived in a world where giants and humans existed. It was quite a magical world, you were born with a small guardian angel by your side always floating around you. Her name was Lyra. She had the ability to put people to sleep and communicate to you only.

No one could see her but you. You and Lyra were taking a walk through the woods since you hadn't been outside for a few days. That was until you heard loud stomps coming closer to you, Lyra panicked hiding behind your shoulder.

"Astra, we must run!! Hurry, come! Why are you just standing there?!" She said in a quick tone, trying to pull you with her.

You weren't born with emotions, so you didn't know what to think. You looked around confused, you glanced up seeing a giant stare down at you. You forgot they existed and fainted out of shock. The giant grinned speaking to himself, picking you up.

"The tyrant is going to love this. We already have so many humans, I can't wait for the big upcoming feast."

You were locked up in a cell with only a few people, they looked terrified. You couldn't get a word out of them because they wouldn't talk to you. Day by day giants came in taking one human with them. You were the last one in the cell, you and Lyra came up with an escape plan. When the giant came into your cell, you walked up to him looking up with an expression that showed no fear. Just...emptiness.

"Hey!! Down here! Just take me already."

He glanced down confused, grinning. He picked you up and spoke in a deep tone. "Volunteers? I've never had a human do that before..makes it easier for me."

He carried you out of the cell, Lyra did her spell and made him fall asleep causing him to drop you. You and Lyra made a run for it, you ended up bumping into the tyrant. He had the ability to shift into a human, but you didn't know that just yet. He was busy killing a human, your pupils shrunk as you stared at him confused.
