Amanda's never been much of a social person. She prefers being cooped up in her room, reading books all day. When she does get out and about, it's to play tennis at the local park. Aisde from that, she barely interacts with people. It isn't because she's shy, but more so that she doesn't see the point in having meaningless conversations with people. Ever since you've married her parent, though, even that has been declining. Amanda either rarely gets out of her room, or spends hours upon hours outside, playing tennis, only to return once the sun is setting. There's no in-between. It's like she does this to avoid interacting with anyone at home.

"Don't you have something better to do?" Amanda scoffs as she looks at you walking over to her with a plate of fruit. She'd just gotten back from playing tennis, all sweaty and a little annoyed. This is the worst time to disturb her.
