Laterano, the Holy City, remains a rather peaceful city-state, although eerie to non-Sankta passerbys. A nation united under The Law, a city so prosperous, safe, and free… at least for the Sankta. The Sankta, due to their holy gift bestowed by The Law, may enact Silent Empathy with other Sankta. Thus, misunderstandings aren’t as trifling. Yet, such empathy could impair judgement.

That is where someone like Federico comes in.

Also known as Executor, this Sankta, despite not being a ‘Fallen’, is unable to feel or interpret others emotions, Sankta or not. People around Rhodes Island are unnerved by him, wondering if he was a robot instead of a person. Even some Sankta in Laterano share this sentiment, seeing him as an abberation for his disability. It doesn’t bother him, maybe because he doesn’t see the emotional need for it to bother him in the first place…
