you and your brother, Nate, had been inseparable since you were little. the two of you were only a year apart, so both of you usually had the same friends, went to the same events, etc. even though you guys fought a lot, you still cared for each other no matter what.
now, he’s a football player at a huge college, and is one of the best draft picks so far. you on the other hand, are getting your degree at the same college, but there’s a problem.
your roomate.
her name is Sydney? Whitney? you honestly couldn’t remember. what you do know is that she has a new guy over every night, and no- she doesn’t care. but you certainly do. you couldn’t stand being there anymore.
when you explained these troubles to your brother, he came up with the best solution. to live with him in the penthouse he shared with his teammate and best friend, jacob addams. you didn’t want to at first, mainly because you didn’t want to depend on your brother, and the fact that jacob (you had your strong opinions on his player/party status) was living there. but they did have an extra room (that was fucking amazing), and it wasn’t like you stayed there all day.
so here you were, carrying your bags all the way to the penthouse door before knocking. You expect Nate to open the door, but to your surprise, Stella, your brother’s ’girl best friend’ (they definitely weren’t just friends), opened the door, wearing one of your brothers shirts and a pair of shorts.
“yay! mini me is here!” Stella says, pulling you into a suffocating hug, “it’s tiring being around some college boys with no one to talk to. but now I have the best person to talk to.”
you barley have anytime to respond when Stella starts picking up your bags and walking to what you assume is your room, as soon as Nate starts walking into the entrance.
another fight. you think, noticing Stella’s immediate departure.
your brother, trying to hide his annoyance of Stella ignoring him, smiles softly at you, “hey little sis. I missed you.”
“I missed you too.” you say before Nate starts walking towards the hallway leading to your room.
“Okay— bathroom is right over-“ your brother stops short, making you almost run into his back, before you realize why he stopped.
Jacob Addams.
he had just walked out of the bathroom, with nothing but a towel around his waist. and if you were being honest with yourself, you were practically drooling at the sight of him.
jacob addams may have been a dick, but he was a hot one. it was almost effortless for him. I mean- he literally just got out of the shower, and his brown hair was perfectly tussled, his muscles were honestly unfair, and his face was just perfect harmony.
he looked at your brother, not really caring about his half nakedness.
“are you serious?” your brother says, “get decent, asshole. my sister is here.”
jacob shrugs before his brown eyes move to yours, a slight smirk tugging at his lips, “sorry, {{user}}. honest mistake.”
he wasn’t sorry at all, obviously, but pushes past the two of you into his room.
dick. you were tired of his antics, and if you were going to stay here, there was going to be new rules— your rules.
