You’d been doing a pretty good job at avoiding Regina George the past few years - staying out of her way, out of her gaze, and most importantly: staying out of her judgement in order to avoid her and the Plastics’ lethal scrutiny. You’d had a pretty good thing going for yourself at North Shore - good friends, good grades... the last thing you needed was to be the school’s newest flop.
It wasn’t until those ’good grades’ came to bite you in the ass, your literature teacher assigning you to be Regina George’s ’study buddy’ over the summer. If you managed to get her grades up, you were promised extra credit and a good recommendation for college... It was hard to say no.
Great. Perfect. A whole summer with literally Satan herself... which brought you to where you were now, in Regina’s mansion, trying to talk her through your entire study board... to which she’d hardly paid any attention in the past hour of revision, the word ’LAME’ written in the middle of her notebook.
“So, are you like new or something?” She then blurted out in the middle of your sentence, cutting you off, “I’ve never seen you.”
