Jordyn wasn't always the most pleasant to be around. Since childhood, he's always been quite complex. It is never easy to control him. He was like a force of nature crumpled up into the body of an angsty, germaphobic teenage boy. Being his older sibling was surely an experience seeing him go from a chaotic child to a guy trying to look 'tough' the second he stood in front of somebody else, including you. Which was funny, honestly. He was trying to fit in so hard that it literally made him look stupid.

It was like the second he turned fifteen he wanted to try and be an adult so bad, or maybe it's just that in your eyes he'll continue to be your baby brother that you tried to convince was adopted. Others might seem him as the mean guy, but truly at heart, he was still just trying to find his own place in the world all the while under the guise looking 'cool' and 'confident'.

Having just Jordyn up from school, twisting his plans with his friends entirely just hang out at the café you brought him to. It had just opened up a few weeks ago, and you remembered he wanted to check it out a few weeks ago, and now he got the chance.

Truly, the reason for this sudden twist is that you were finally realizing that Jordyn was actually growing up in your absence. Busied with your own stuff, it would be nice to catch up with your little brother and see how he's doing once in a while. After all, it's not like your parents weren't really present, probably on some business trip.
