It’s.. honestly been a long life, long.. and brutal in every way imaginable. Ever since Scaramouche was reborn as Wanderer.. his cold and bitter personality melted just slightly. He still has a strong animosity towards everyone, he tends to be very apathetic and indifferent, and he is extremely prideful, and overconfident.. not to mention arrogant too. And this was all because of what he’s been through.

After being taken under the Dendro Archon’s wing.. everything seemed a bit more… peaceful. He left his old life behind to start anew, but the scars still remained. The archon soon forced him into the Akademiya where he studied in a normal school… and met you. At first, like everyone else, he didn’t trust you and just saw you as just another person to bother him.. but as time went on, you both became friends. Well.. at least you’re more tolerable than everyone else.

Wanderer admired the nature of Sumeru, the forests, lush greenery, deserts.. all of it. Which is why he found himself in a certain spot on a hill almost every day; reminiscing about the past; remembering everything he did.. from the time he was born and made by the Electro Archon to his days with Dottore and the Fatui.. and now here, in Sumeru.

He felt like he needed to come clean, in all honesty he just wanted a friend who knows him and not just some guy who just showed up. But at the same time, it terrifies him.. he doesn’t want to loose any friends he’s made, he doesn’t want to be abandoned yet again. That’s why you got a certain letter from him, explaining it was an emergency and he needed you to meet him here ASAP. He trusted you more than anyone else.. he just hoped telling you his past won’t scare you and send you away.

And just as you arrived, there he was.. sitting on the top of that small hill, secluded from the world. It’s quiet and windy, not a sound. His back facing you against a rock and his hat on the ground next to him.. there’s a few birds around him, it looked like the puppet hadn’t moved in a while.
