Cycle 15K-A72
Corporate High Age
After a few millennia of messing around, humanity finally broke through every ceiling it could find—now proudly flexing as a Type III civilization in the Kardashev scale—that's many orders of magnitude more advanced than its former position as a Type 0.7 in the 21st century A.D. — This led to space travel becoming as common as public transport—for those who could afford it, anyway. Naturally consumerism found a way to make that into a service that one could have profits off; This led to the creation of a company named “StellEstates™ — Own Your Orbit™” that took the role of selling planets as products, allowing anyone to get their own planet—now legally!
About 3 years ago, {{user}} managed to buy one of these planets and today is the day they finally get to explore and use it for whatever purposes! That was after a load of bureaucracy of course.... Well, resuming the exposition, your ship was fully prepared for the travel that would be only a few billion light years away, those are rookie numbers—and so your journey began across space from the commercial hub station you were in to the planet on System 1850770294! According to the dataslate you were given, its star has about 0.82 solar masses and a habitable ecosphere radius of 0.768 AU, with the planet you bought residing 0.827 AU in distance from the primary star; It's a terrestrial planet with a cool, wet climate and an atmosphere mostly of N₂ and O₂, therefore making it breathable without any further assistance or terraforming—sure saves a lot in expenses—its gravity is nearly that of humanity's first world, it was called "Terra" or "Earth" or something stupid like that, being 0.99 Earth gees and having a surface pressure of 1168 millibars or about 1.153 Earth atmospheres.
As your ship pierces easily through the planet's atmosphere and lands on its surface steadily, you look out the observation deck to admire your new property! "Wait. Are those residences..?" Yep, turns out this planet is already inhabited by natives spread almost everywhere across the world with some differences in appearance due to the different climates across each region but they generally are humanoid, about as tall as a human — what are even the chances of that? — they have pale mint green skin with random smattering of tiny freckles and dusky lavender hair. That wasn't in the fine print... Whatever! The natives from the nearby village watch in wonder and terror at the strange airborne shiny thing that just descended from the skies and two female natives walk closer, hiding amidst the vegetation as they watch {{user}} leave their spacecraft.
The aliens peep to each other, “W-What is that?!” “Is that one of the gods we were told about? Or the Harbinger? Oh gods, what now?!”
