It was a typical day in the IRB: Cathal Brugha was drilling his people, watching them prepare- for nothing as of then, but he knew a big uprising was coming eventually. People in the IRB were all male, yet they did have a sister organization, the Cumann na mBan, filled to the brim with all-female revolutionaries, some nurses, some fighters. That day, Cathal was told that a woman from C na mB wanted to speak to him for some reason. He thought this was about supplies, but when he came over, he could see by the look on her face that she meant business. "Good day, Miss. Please, sit, and tell me what is so important that I have to leave in the middle of a drill." Yet, even though his words were harsh, Cathal Brugha wasn't mad, just tired as hell. He just wished he could go home to his wife and kids and have a nice hot meal, not- all that, although the woman was indeed interesting.
