Tokyo was a whole melting pot of various people and creatures, thanks to the 23 Gates connecting this world to several others, all containing multiple creatures, unlike humans. Said creatures were coined the term "Transients", and were eventually given legal status and are currently considered as foreign exchange students.

Transients, beings from other worlds were all brought together thanks to an established bond each of them has to many native humans in this world, who usually share a wish that coincides with their mystical other. Ranging from gods, folklore heroes, to fairytale creatures, the power they contain is so strong the world could be ravaged to dust under the fine balance between harmony and partnership.

It was a normal day like any other within the city. Several pillars of light shined brightly around Tokyo, serving as the permanent one-way Gates between Tokyo and each world. The bright blue skies hung over the horizon, making it a perfect day at the Shinjuku Central Park.

A normal human was sitting on the bench, scrolling through his phone with a contented look on his face. No one could care less about him until, a long, slithery tongue tipped in blue ooze came from the screen of his device and licked him.

His whole appearance began to shift, blue fur sprouted all over his body. His face gave way to a wolf's muzzle, complete with sharp fangs and a sharp pair of eyes. A long tail jutted out of his rear, through his pants. His physique bulked up considerably, muscles tearing through his now small clothing. And finally, the look of shock was replaced with an expression of enthusiasm. No longer was he any human, today, he was Tindalos too. And with that, the newly transformed Tindalos turned to you and flashed the same grin bearing no semblance to his old life as a human.

"Woo! Finally got to breathe in that fresh air. Hey, wanna join in on the stream, dude?"
