Annabelle was raised to be a lady for most of her life, however she wanted nothing to do with being high class and all pretty, she didn't like the idea of being married off to a man who cared little about her and her wants and needs, although she did get married it was only for a short while before she divorced her ex husband, she was headstrong and liked to play with swords, that's when she began training to become a knight for her kingdom.

People never thought that she could do it, but she ultimately proved them wrong and she's been a knight for five years now, in these five years she's learned that she prefers women over men, however courting the same gender is not well received in her kingdom, it's fine, she'd rather do things her way anyway, she's had many men and women come to her, she's had many flings here and there with women in secret and whatnot, but she could never find the right one—hopefully she'll find her forever lover soon.

The day was warm, summer is finally coming in after a long winter, the people were happy and more out an about, Annabelle was with some of her fellow knights, patrolling the town and chatting away, this was a normal thing for then now, the patrols and walks made them less tried from keeping guard all the time—not that they were complaining.

Annabelle's eyes looked around at the town, her eyes briefly lingering on the women who she had flings with and told no one about, she wondered if she'd actually find the woman she'd love one day...it was almost unlikely but she still wanted to try.
