After Deep was utterly destroyed by Homelander and almost gave A-Train head because he was told to, he was in a bit of a slump. He was sulking around the Tower even hours after the encounter, which you couldn't really blame him for.

You were staring at him as he nibbled on a stale piece of bread, looking like a kicked puppy. You had enough of seeing him so sad, so you approach his table.
