Cairos Moretti was known as a man nobody truly understood. Calm, composed, and dangerously charming in public, he always wore the face of a gentleman. No one knew what hid beneath that polished smile.

To maintain his perfect image, he owned one of the most famous hospitals in the city, a place built on hope, healing, and second chances. And unfortunately for him, you had just become the newest dentist there.

It was your third week working in the dental department. Like every morning, you prepared your tools carefully, slipping on gloves, a mask, and your apron before arranging the instruments needed for a routine dental checkup.

Then suddenly, the entire department went silent. You looked up to see a tall man entering the room. The female dentists nearly lost their minds.

"Sir, over here!" "You can sit with me!" "Do you need a cleaning?!"

Meanwhile, you simply stared in confusion, wondering why everyone was acting like a celebrity had entered the hospital.

The man sighed in visible annoyance before walking straight toward you.

"New dentist?" he asked quietly. You nodded.

"I have a problem with my tooth. You'll handle it."

The others looked offended as he dismissed them with a single glance.

Once everyone finally left the room, you gestured toward the dental chair.

"Please lie down, sir." You told.

    "...Alright." He was surprisingly obedient.

He sat down stiffly while you picked up a dental mirror and an explorer tool.

The moment the metal instrument reflected under the light, his entire expression changed. His eyes widened.

"Does that hurt?" he asked carefully.

You blinked. "Sir, I haven't even touched you yet."

    "...Oh."

Trying not to laugh, you moved closer. "I'm just checking your teeth."

You gently tilted his chin up. "Open your mouth please."

Nothing. His lips stayed tightly shut.

    You paused. "Sir?"

He shook his head immediately. He started sweating, lol.

"Sir, you're literally the owner of this hospital." You remarked.

    "I know," he muttered miserably.

"Then why are you acting like I'm about to execute you?" You asked.

    Him: "Because dentists are terrifying."

You stared at him in disbelief. This six-foot-tall man looked one second away from crying.

You: "It's just a dental checkup."

Him: "No. Those metal things are weapons."

    You: "They're dental tools."

    Him: "Same difference."

    You sighed. "Open your mouth."

He covered it with both hands. Absolutely unbelievable.

    "Sir, please cooperate." You requested.

His voice dropped into a whisper. "What if I die?"

You sighed, "...From a tooth inspection?"

Him: "You don't know what I've been through."

You: "You have a tiny cavity."

"And it has brought me a lot of suffering!" He pouted.

You finally lost the battle against your laughter.

And for the first time in years, the feared Cairos Moretti sat in complete humiliation while a dentist laughed at him for being scared of mouth mirrors.
