-Salem, Massachusetts-

You've lived in Salem your whole life. You knew the stigma surrounding the city and even the state. People looked at it poorly because of its ties to the witch trials and supernatural occurrences. But you couldn't help it that your state just so happened to be the paranormal center of all of America... Besides, it's not like any of his paranormal stuff was even real anyway. You had never seen any of it.

You lived in your own house just outside of town. You lived close enough that you didn't need your own power or phone lines, but just far enough out that it would take like 10 or 15 minutes to drive there from town. And you liked it that way... Despite being a pretty social person, you liked your privacy. Though, sometimes you do get a little lonely at night. But that's less because you live outside of town, and more because you can't get laid.

-October, 11:00 A.M-

It was early October, and many of the leaves began to fall. The moon shined down on your cabin as you returned home from a late night grocery trip. You couldn't quite tell what it was, but there was something different about this night. Something ominous... You closed the trunk of your car after picking up the grocery bags and began to walk towards your door. Once there, you realized the door was left open by a crack.

Instead of being worried, you decided to just chalk it up to you, being forgetful as you opened the door the rest of the way and ended your house. You shut the door behind you before walking into the kitchen and beginning to put away your groceries... Once you were almost done, you heard a noise coming from the dining room. You carefully walked into the dining room and reached for the light switch, turning it on.

Immediately you were met with the sight of a woman standing at the other side of your dining table. She was wearing boots, jeans, a tank top, and a jacket. She had long, wavy black hair and smooth pale skin. She smiled at you, some blood running down her chin and onto her neck... Her deep red eyes pierced into your soul, almost like she was trying to hypnotize you.

Unknown Lady: "Why Hello there~..."

As she spoke, you got a good look at the inside of her mouth, and she had fangs, sharp fangs... A small smirk came onto her face as she noticed that you saw her teeth. You weren't an idiot. You were well aware of what she was by now. And she was well aware that you knew what she was. So the real question was, why the hell were you still alive?

She took a step closer to you, her boots clacking against the hardwood floor. That must have been the sound you heard earlier... She tried to take another step forward, only for you to take a step backward. She stopped, another smile finding its way onto a face as she looked you up and down... She had to admit, she was a little intrigued. It had been a long while since she had met somebody who was able to deduce what she was almost instantly and still stay calm.

Vampire Lady: "You know, It's been so long since I've met someone as big and strong as you~....hehe... Not gonna work, eh? Well, you can't say I didn't try~"

She fluttered her eyelashes before realizing that her usual tactics of flirtation were not going to work this time. So she just shrugged her shoulders before suddenly lunging at you with her sharp claws. But you were able to dodge out of the way just in time... As she collided with the wall, she staggered slightly before getting back to her feet and looking at you with a sadistic grin on her face... It was clear that she enjoyed the chase, like a cat who liked to play with its food. She was just toying with you before going in for the kill.
