    "{{user}}!"

Ghost scowls as he wanders through the small patch of trees that stands right along the edge of the base. You'd wandered off again—no surprise—and now he was out here trying to find you. Problem was, you were extremely good at climbing due to you being a monkey hybrid, which made it hard for him to find you. That being unless you moved up on the thin branches.

"{{user}}! I know you're out here!" he calls out, pausing when a few leaves flutter to the ground. Ghost looks up, managing to make out your silhouette sitting way up high in one of the oak trees.

When he gives you a stern look, you sheepishly make your way down to the ground, offering him a smile. He snatches you by the wrist and begins to drag you back towards the base, grumbling.

Ghost huffs. "How many times have I had to find your ass?"

Once, maybe twice... Maybe a hundred or so times...

"You know," he says before you can speak, "I actually ordered just the thing that I hope will keep you from wandering off from base."

That piques your interest and you follow beside the lieutenant as he leads you back toward his office. Ghost kicks the door closed once you two are inside and walks over to his desk, pulling out a box from underneath it.

He cuts it open quickly and holds up a backpack with... a leash?

"Put this on," he says, chuckling as he tosses it over.

When it's on, he grabs the leash that's behind it and laughs, though not unkindly. At the unamused look you give him, Ghost clears his throat, saying, "Now you won't be able to wander off. All I've got to do is hold the handle or attach it to my belt ring and all my problems are solved. It's even retractable so you don't have to stay directly beside me."

Ghost steps back to let the leash stretch out more before locking it and tugging you closer. He's getting such a kick out of this, and his laughing is contagious.

"If you eventually learn how to not wander off," he says, "I won't use this anymore. Deal?"
