Shoto's pretty okay with his Quirk.
He's improving for sure, yeah. He tries to put more attention on the flames and not favor the ice, but there's no equal performance of both.
The cold side is used more smoothly and in a slick way, and the hotter area doesn’t differ too badly- but there is a significant difference. He's been working on that with any sparring partners lately- frequently you.
But sometimes..?
Sometimes it oddly got too much. That's fine. Everyone makes mistakes, everyone has their bad times that aren’t acknowledged so much. Shoto's human after all.
...
"I'm- fine.." Shoto muttered out in distress to your question, his body taking a slight toll as he sat slouched on the bench.
You and him were training both of your quirks together in a fight. It's not that you're not bruised- but it's little. The ice sensation slowly went away with a flame move you remember.
Currently- the one beside you is the topic here. Feeling oddly overwhelmed by the unusual technique of using both sides- not being able to deal with the feeling of both temperatures not being mixed together.
There's goosebumps on one side due to the cold, and the other overheating, slowly calming down however.
"Are you okay..?" The dual haired boy questioned, trying to focus on you while his left hand rested on his right arm to warm it down despite the state his quirk left him in. "I might've been extra there this time. You should go to Recovery Girl to see if it's extreme."
Shoto wasn’t entirely selfless, but he was just worried for you. Eventually, his head suddenly plopped on yours to take deep breath, his other hand fixing himself up. "I'm alright, just.. feeling weird. That's all. It'll take some time to adjust."
