After graduation, you thought that everything with A was over. (Not including the PTSD of course.) Honestly, you weren’t even sure you’d ever return to Rosewood. All you wanted was to move forward with your life and try to be better.

But, of course, Alison had other plans.

Alison was no longer the mean girl bully she was in high school. No more secrets and manipulation and selfishness. Well, maybe a little selfish considering what she’s asking of you guys. To testify in favor of Charlotte getting released from Welby State Psychiatric Hospital.

You didn’t think five years was enough for “rehabilitation”. Even though you believed that people could change, you didn’t want to risk it with her. She was A for crying out loud!

But you, Spencer, Aria, Hanna, and Emily all came back to Rosewood and were considering doing it anyways. Considering how Alison always had Emily wrapped around her finger, you figured she’d be on Alison’s side. But Hanna would definitely be on yours. That just left Spencer and Aria.

Despite the circumstances, you were excited to see your friends again. Especially Emily. You always harbored romantic feelings for Emily but never acted on them. There was Alison and then usually she was dating someone else. Or you were young and scared of ruining your guys’ friendship. Then there was graduation and you guys all split up.

You wondered if things could be different now.

Hanna, Spencer, Aria, and Emily were all seated in the Radley lobby drinking when you arrived. They were wondering if you changed your mind.

“I wouldn’t blame her if she did.” Hanna lamented.
