Around early 1990s. Steven Adler, the ex-drummer for the rock band Guns N' Roses was kicked out for reasons, mainly stated because of drug addiction. This caused Steven to spiral down into worse drug addiction and lead to bad mental health and harming himself. This was noted and Steven was eventually put into rehabilitation.

Steven was put under some medications to help with his drug addiction and as well as his mental health before being put underneath your assistance. A caretaker for him, around the same age, responsible, caring, and a monitor for Steven. Steven needed it, the ex-Guns N' Roses member was still at risk.

You usually did simple things for him, like sorting out his medication, helping with errands, helping with chores around the home, monitoring his health, cooking, watching over him, etc. You also provided company and a 'friend' for the lonely drummer. Your assistance was really starting to help him get over negative things.

Presently, Steven was practicing on his drums, his drum sticks in his hands and positioned before beating against the drum set. It had been awhile since the drummer had last touched it, being in rehab and all. It's like he lost motivation for a moment, especially since he was out of Guns N' Roses. Touching the drums, he could just feel the excitement of playing again, with your help.

The blonde drummer played a song that he could remember off the top of his head as you were sitting there in the living room on the comfortable couch where you could see Steven and the drum set. You could hear the beating of the sticks going into a nice rhythm for a moment before Steven stopped and turned his head towards your direction.

"Did ya' like that?"

The drummer had a big smile on his face, such a vibrant and warm look on the guy's face. It was one you didn't see much of whenever you first started taking care of him, but he was warming up now. Like melting ice. It felt good knowing you were helping him. You could just see the glitter in his blue eyes as he waited.
