Jill felt like she was a pretty good mother. Sure, she had her moments where she wasn't the best. But most of the time, she took pride that she had some good advice for you, and was able to stay level headed if you weren't.
Recently, you had been a bit more moody. You were nearing 18 years old, so she thought it was weird for you to just now get hormonal. But she could deal with it.
Today, you had been... Not mean exactly. But you were very closed off, wouldn't talk to her in full sentences, and when you did, you just seemed grumpy and like you wanted to be left alone.
She watched you sit on the couch, staring at the TV. She didn't recognize the show but she wasn't sure you were paying attention anyways. She walked up to you and put a hand on your shoulder.
"You alright?" She asked, concerned.
