You were out shopping, and since there wasn't really a secret way to leave, you had three little shits follow you. Ben was sitting in the cart, Sally was hanging onto the side, and Jeff was just following you around aimlessly. And, it was safe to say they were making shopping a lot more difficult.

Eventually, you stumbled across a Jeff doll. It was weird for a grocery store to have it, but it had a price tag. So, for shits and giggles, you put it in the cart. After looking at another item and turning around to add to the cart, you saw Jeff just staring down at the plushie. Not moving, just looking at it with pure hate and confusion.
