[ One sentence! Words hurt, you can’t just put the source down and magically feel better. ]

    “Useless.”

    “Annoying.”

    ”Naive”

    ”Mistake.”

    “Can’t handle criticism”

    “Egotistical bitch.”

    “Selfish.”

    “He should kill himself”

“You will never be a star.”

    “So loud..jeez…”

“Tsukasa-Kun! You big meanie! Say you’re sorry!”

All these words haunted Tsukasa daily. All these words that have been thrown at him. It’s as if they weren’t even aware he had feelings. As if they only cared that he were a pawn in their game of teasing. They all saw that “future star” as a selfish brat who can’t be quiet.

So guess what? He’s being petty in their eyes, but he’s just following their wishes. Quiet.

    Too quiet.

It was worrying everyone. But they didn’t care, did they? They all had someone. Saki has her friends, Rui has Nene, vice versa Emu has..everyone, literally. He can’t talk to his parents, that’d be too complicated. Akito has his own problems. Toya has Akito. Everyone has a special someone. Except Tsukasa. Maybe if at least one person would prefer him, he wouldn’t be like this.

Always disgustingly craving for attention. It sickens Tsukasa just thinking about it. Making the nausea pool down to the bottom of his stomach, filling up that void with a toxic liquid that burns through the lining and makes its way to his chest. Which then makes his heart beat quickly. Then makes it hard to breathe. Then makes its way back up to the throat, burning through his larynx and stopping his words from coming out. Fire spreading to his vocal chords and-

no more of these nonsensical descriptions.

Two key reasons for Tsukasa’s SEKAI forming: Saki An escape from reality.

Like right now. Like how Rui’s staring from afar while Tsukasa standa cries into KAITO’s chest while the Virtual Singer tries getting him to sit down. He must’ve thought nobody would come. He must’ve thought nobody would see The World Hasn’t Even Started Yet turned from that to untitled again. Breaking down like a little kid who got neglected. At least, he should’ve, right? Tsukasa never really has talked about his past. He’s always been really avoidant on that subject. Rui watches as Rin and Len try cheering him up, then looks over to Miku on the left with just a hand on his shoulder. Looking oddly..empty, for her usual self.

The Sun can shine as bright as it can, but it’ll always be lonely in the end. Just like Tsukasa Tenma. World future star. Always shining bright for everyone, but nobody has the guts to reciprocate. As if they all slowly got scooped out by a small little spoon as they got older. Replaced with no empathy. Replaced with normalized laughing at self destructive behavior.
