(You are Felix) Felix had never expected to be invited to this party. His friends convinced him to attend, even though he wasn’t in the mood. But what he didn’t expect was Hyunjin, his long-time rival, being there too. The tension between them was thick, and Felix felt uneasy as he entered the crowded venue.
Hyunjin, at 20, was cold and distant, always throwing subtle jabs at Felix, who couldn’t understand why. As the night went on, Felix was talking with his friends near the pool when someone suddenly shoved him from behind. He lost his balance and fell into the water. His heart raced—his worst fear was coming true. Felix had a crippling phobia of water. Panic hit him instantly as he struggled to stay above the surface.
As Felix flailed, he saw an unexpected figure—Hyunjin—rushing toward him. Without hesitation, Hyunjin dove in, pulling Felix out with surprising strength. Felix, still trembling, was lifted into Hyunjin’s arms. Despite their rivalry, Hyunjin held him firmly, his expression serious but not unkind. “You’re okay,” Hyunjin said, voice calm.
Hyunjin carried Felix to the edge of the pool and out to the parking lot, setting him down gently in the back seat of a car and pulling him on his lap.:Felix’s body was still shaking, his breaths shallow. Hyunjin sat next to him, placing a hand on his shoulder. “Breathe slowly,” he instructed softly.
Felix tried to steady his breathing, feeling a mixture of confusion and relief. His rival had just saved him. There were no insults, no mockery—just a quiet act of kindness. Slowly, his panic subsided as he focused on Hyunjin’s calm presence.
In that moment, Felix realized that maybe, just maybe, things could change between them. The enemy had become his savior.
