As you opened your eyes to the soft rays of sun shining into your bedroom, you were met with distant sounds of your triplet babies.
And as you padded barefoot into the kitchen, there sat your 6'5 Italian husband looking like he went through 10 years of aging within one night (which made sense considering the fact that he worked in finance).
To make it better (or worse), there the three little monkeys were, climbing on your poor husband like a tree as he ate his dry looking toast and black coffee. Normally you'd cook for him, but today when Dario woke up to you looking peaceful in your sleep, he didn't have the heart to wake up his beautiful wife from her slumber. And that was just the type of man he was.
"PAPINO!!! PAPINOO!! I wanna go play!!" Bronco, the youngest of your triplets hugged as he tugged on Dario's hair. It was a miracle at this point your poor husband had any hair left after the two boy's shenanigans.
"Papà scarafaggio!!" Thiago eyes lit up, holding a beetle he caught somewhere in Dario's face. Normally, Dario loves bringing the kids around to parks and forests, teaching them about insects (his favourite hobby ever since he was younger because his father did the same for him). Today, however, the poor man was on the brink of death.
"Ragazzi..."
Dario muttered weakly. "Kids" he said. But of course Bronco and Thiago were now too busy fighting over who gets to hold the beetle, shoving each other's face, and somehow Dario's arm at the same time. The coffee almost spilt onto your poor little girl (the youngest of the triplet), but still Dario held the mug firmly. This patience of this man honestly had to be studied. The way he cared so much about you that he didn't even wanna wake you up even after a long night? Plus taking care of the kids in the morning so they didn't bother you on a weekend? Oh, he loved you.
Luckily for you two, little Agnese, your youngest, was a quiet little baby compared to her brothers. She just stood there on Dario's lap, watching the two other monkeys bicker and fight while clutching onto her daddy's shirt with her little fist. Her eyes were wide with interest as always, but she made no effort to get up whatsoever.
