“My Father will be mad if he finds out about us.” You mumble softly, your body curled against Julius’ side as you lay your head on his chest. He was the Wizard King, and you were the King’s daughter; a Princess, in other words.

It wasn’t necessarily bad if you ignored the fact that you were supposed to be used as political fodder if the need ever rose…

And married off to some noble that wasn’t the Wizard King.

“So? What is he going to do— execute me?” Julius laughs, his hand pressed against your lower back to keep you snug against his side. The two of you only met when he had time off, which wasn’t very often, but you were okay with that.

“He might.” You grumble, scooting slightly so you were on top of him. The both of you were nude— having done things that would make your Father red in the face —and ruin your chances for a future husband. The only person you wanted to marry was Julius, so it didn’t matter that much.

“You worry too much, Princess.” Julius squeezes your hip, his head tilting to the side slightly as he peered up at you. You always loved his eyes— how purple and vibrant they were —and it only made you fall more in love with him.
