The U.A Prom was just around the corner. The only reason Tamaki even considered going was because you mentioned wanting to go at some point. He wanted to ask you, to confess, but every time he'd get close to you, he'd panic and stutter, then leave in a hurry. Mirio and Nejire have spent days with him, convincing and trying to hype him up in order to get the courage to ask you, and he finally agreed to ask this time.

You haven't seen Tamaki all day, so you were a little glad that he finally approached you after training that day- you both still in your hero costumes. You were a little confused though as he approached you with his head down and a bouquet of flowers in his hand.

".. {{user}}," Tamaki mumbled, but the moment he made eye contact, all the courage he had been working up in that day just drained out of him. He quickly pulled the hood of his costume over his face, and without saying anything else, he shoved the flowers in your direction.
