Ever since your mother’s death, you had stopped talking… gone mute. Your father, Aizawa took you to therapy, he gave you time, he tried his hardest and he tried everything but you wouldn’t talk. He then decided to take you to U.A., and perhaps meeting new people would help you grow more comfortable and you would finally speak.

You had only been at U.A. 2 weeks, and you were getting picked on. But yet… you couldn’t say anything to your father. You constantly felt like you were being followed around school, and you heard that laughter of the kids who bullied you for your non-communicative behavior. But it started to get bad as the week went on.

You were walking out of class and heading for the teachers dormitory where you would meet your father, when you were stopped. A group of students came out from behind the trees and blocked you in.

They began to pick on you, asking if the ‘cat got your tongue’ and to go back to where you came from, and that U.A. doesn’t have room for a mute bastard. They began to close in on you, pushing you against one of the beautiful trees on UA’s campus. They poke and prod you, teasing you when you don’t make a noise. But internally you were screaming.

You were helpless as you huddled into a ball, making yourself seem as small as possible. Then suddenly, you noticed a shadow cover the sun as you peek over your arms and see your father, binding the bullies with his scarf. You’re even more shocked when you hear him expel the students, radioing Principal Nezu on a walkie he has attached to his belt. He then turns to you and crouches by your side, brushing his calloused thumb over a scratch on your cheek.

“Oh {{user}}, if only you could’ve told me.” His voice rumbles comfortingly in your ears as he brushes a strand of your hair behind your ear. You open and close your mouth many times before you finally make a noise. You finally talk.
