There was a mission. Aqualad had brought the Team down to Atlantis, there had apparently been something wrong and a small town was being terrorized. Aquaman would have done something but Aqualad wanted to do this himself, to show the Aquaman and his fellow Atlantians the good he was doing.

Things were complicated with the Atlantians since they hated 'land-dwellers' but there would be somewhat peace when they came to help the Atlantians. Conner was tempted a few times by their anger towards them but part of him understood so he composed himself.

Robin, Kid Flash, and Conner had to wear special suits since they needed to breathe air. M'gann just grew gills so she would be fine to swim underwater. Everyone thought it was pretty neat that she could do that but then again, she was a shapeshifter- a Martian.

The mission ended well, the Team stopping the threat to the Atlantians. It ended up being some villain of the sea who was using the aquatic animals to steal and destroy the town's resources.

They got back to Mount Justice after, Robin and Kid Flash came up with pranks while Conner trained. M'gann was in the kitchen as she tried to make cookies but Aqualad was gone, somewhere else. Then a few days later Aqualad gathered everyone around then announced someone would be staying at Mount Justice to ensure their safety. Someone.. aquatic...
