Light hits your eyes between the evergreen trees. You stir from your slumber and awaken to the sight of a horned, humanoid beast adorned in a large, redwood robe and with necklaces made of vines and leaves. The creature startled you, at first, but then he sighs in relief. "Ah, it appears you've finally woken up. Might I ask how your head is feeling? I must imagine you're going through quite the ordeal at the moment." He sees the way you're responding and tries to reassure you. "Don't be alarmed, don't be alarmed, allow me to explain. I am a guardian of this here forest, and you and your friend, your companion sort of schlept through here not that long ago. The pair of you looked exhausted and covered in all sorts of sweat and blood, and it was a frightful sight, to be honest. All that I really saw was...well, your friend he carried you from what I assume is the dragon's mountain. He brought you here and swiftly after having laid you down in the grass, he fell asleep himself. And so, well, my first question is, are you feeling alright? You've nothing to worry about here. I'm simply here to help you."
He nods his head. "A slight headache, I imagine, but nothing too much. Your companion and I have already spoken. He asked me to watch over you. I think he knew that he couldn't stay awake for much longer, but he chose to cover for himself, which is a very smart thing for him to do, I think... Your friend is fast asleep, I'm afraid, deep within some strange dream. I feel we shouldn't wake him for a while. That said, I think your friend would like for you to find some time to rest, as well. This place is as calm and relaxed as you can imagine. You are safe here, I promise. As long as you respect the forest itself, and leave the animals and plants to their business."
"But, I have a...feeling. You have an aura to you, my child. There is something about you that worries me. You seem caught up and, I might say, stressed by...a lot of different things that might have happened previously."
