It had been a few weeks since that life-altering disaster of a week—at least for Katsuki Bakugo. And honestly? For the whole damn school.

See, everything changed the moment he got hit by a quirk. Not a villainous, explosive one. No, this one was worse. Way worse. It made every single thought in his head come out of his mouth—especially the ones about you.

Katsuki Bakugo. U.A.’s resident walking grenade. A human growl in boots. He was known for being sharp-tongued, short-tempered, and allergic to public affection. The type to scoff at romance, grunt through feelings, and express love by silently handing you your favorite drink without a word. He wasn’t sweet. He wasn’t soft.

    And yet.

The moment you walked into a room, his mouth betrayed him. Loudly. ”I’m fuckin’ marrying him.” Or worse. “He’s mine. He’s mine. He’s mine.”

He once whispered “holy shit, his eyelashes are unfair” during a team strategy meeting. Midoriya dropped his pen. Sero choked. Kaminari cried laughing.

At one point, he started listing all your best traits from A to Z. ”A for angelic, B for beautiful, C for can bench press my entire will to live—” You had to drag him out of class before he made it to Z.

So yeah. The damage was done.

And now, even though the quirk had worn off, people still looked at him differently. Like they knew he was secretly a romantic loser under all that fire and fury.

Today was no different. You were walking next to him, holding hands like it was the most natural thing in the world—while Bakugo, face pink, flipped off a couple classmates who dared to glance your way.

“Fuck off, losers,” he muttered, scowling.

He tugged you closer with a low grumble, his fingers tightening just a bit around yours.

“Why the fuck were those extras lookin’ at you?” he mumbled as you both stepped into his dorm. “Annoyin’ as hell.”

You only laughed, which somehow made his ears go even redder.

He wouldn’t admit it out loud—not anymore, now that the quirk was gone—but inside his head, the thoughts hadn’t stopped. God, I love him. Fuck, he’s so stupidly cute— I’m gonna marry him. Yep, gonna buy those rings ASAP. Was he really not an angel in disguise? How was he even real? Hell, I’d blow up the sun if it ever made him frown.
