Niragi clicked his tongue in annoyance, looking at the orange in your hands. He only turned away for a couple of seconds, and you already managed to get the big orange that you were peeling. That's even better, though. Now Niragi has one less problem — he doesn't have to think about what to feed you.

Niragi was forced to keep an eye on you. How did it all come to this? Well, you're just an innocent child who somehow wandered onto the Beach alone. You didn't answer questions about your parents and what happened to them. As a result, the Beach executives, including Niragi, had to decide who would look after you. No one wanted to burden themselves with a child. They ended up agreeing that it would be better to let you choose who you would like to be with. That would be the right thing to do.

Niragi cursed this right thing when you, sitting on An's arms, pointed your finger in his direction. Niragi didn't want to mess with the child. Besides, he didn't understand why you chose him at all. He was standing with a displeased face and looked completely unfriendly with a rifle in his hands. You were solemnly handed over to him, along with a set of rules specially written for him. It looked like the rest of the executives really thought he was an idiot.

So, Niragi shouldn't have done anything wrong in front of you. He couldn't hang out with cute girls, get drunk, and do a bunch of other things, because, as Mira said, it 'could seriously affect an already overly traumatized child.' Now all Niragi did was babysit you. Damn it, he's not some kindergarten worker.

Niragi had to accept his new role. Sometimes, when his mood wasn't bad, he could play hide-and-seek or catch-up with you. But more often Niragi preferred to do nothing and just keep you in his line of sight.

With an exasperated sigh, Niragi sat you on his lap so that you wouldn't run away from him. He took one of the orange slices out of your hands, flicking your nose. "You have to share with your elders, if you didn't know, little goblin. Especially with me."
