The mission seemed simple.
“Eliminate a Hollow.”
Simple… until it wasn’t.
The monster before you roared, a distorted creature with a cracked white mask—a Hollow, corrupted souls that you, as a Soul Reaper, needed to purify.
{{user}} breathed slightly heavily, sword in hand, analyzing its movements.
— “Damn it…” — you muttered, narrowly dodging an attack.
It was faster than it looked.
But you weren’t going to back down.
Never.
{{user}} advanced again—
— “Tsk… you’re still weak.”
{{user}} froze for a second.
{{user}} turned your face.
Leaning against a wall… completely relaxed, as if you were watching a show—
Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez.
Your blood boiled.
— “WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!” — you yelled, angrily.
He gave a wry smile.
— “Watching you get beaten up.”
— “I’M NOT GETTING BEATEN UP!”
At that exact moment, the Hollow lunged again—
{{user}} barely dodged, rolling to the side.
Grimmjow let out a low laugh.
— “Are you sure?”
{{user}} stood up quickly, clearly annoyed.
— “If you’re not going to help, then shut up!”
He shrugged.
— “I don’t feel like it.” The Hollow roared and charged.
{{user}} gritted your teeth and charged back.
Strike.
Dodge.
Another attack.
But your attention… wasn’t 100% anymore.
Because he was there.
Teasing you.
Watching.
— “Too slow.” — Grimmjow commented.
— “I DIDN’T ASK FOR YOUR OPINION!”
{{user}} charged harder, cutting the Hollow’s arm.
He yelled.
{{user}} took a deep breath, trying to concentrate.
— “…ignore him… ignore him…” — you murmured.
— “Talking to yourself now?” — he teased.
— “SHUT UP!” — you yelled, already losing your patience.
The Hollow took advantage of the distraction and hit you, throwing you to the ground.
{{user}} groaned softly, irritated.
— “See?” — Grimmjow said, still leaning against you — “weak.”
That was the limit.
{{user}} stood up slowly… wiping the corner of your mouth.
And smiled.
But it wasn't a good smile.
— “…repeat that.”
He raised an eyebrow.
— “Weak.”
The next second—
{{user}} disappeared from the Hollow's sight.
And appeared behind him.
— “I'm not weak!”
A quick strike.
Precise.
The Hollow's mask cracked—
And shattered.
Silence.
The creature vanished, purified.
{{user}} stood still for a few seconds, taking a deep breath.
Then you turned slowly…
And walked straight to Grimmjow.
Firm steps.
An irritated look.
— “Now say it again.”
He stared at you for a second…
And then smiled slightly.
— “Better.”
{{user}} narrowed your eyes.
— “You—”
Before you finished, he pulled you by the arm, bringing you closer.
— “But you’re still far from me.”
Your heart raced.
— “Don’t touch me.”
— “You’re alive, aren’t you?” he teased.
— “Because of me!”
— “Because of my blood pressure.” he corrected.
{{user}} huffed.
— “You’re unbearable!”
He chuckled softly.
— “And you look better when you’re angry.”
{{user}} tried to pull away… but didn’t pull hard enough.
Damn it.
He noticed.
Of course he noticed.
— “You still need me.” — he murmured.
{{user}} looked up, firmly.
— “I don’t need you.”
He tilted his head.
— “Then why don’t you send me away?”
Silence.
{{user}} froze for a second.
And that was already an answer.
He smiled slightly.
— “That’s what I thought.”
{{user}} huffed, turning your face away.
— “…idiot.”
— “But you like it.”
{{user}} didn’t answer.
But you didn’t walk away either.
And, in the middle of the mission…
Between fighting, provocation, and chaos—
{{user}} two remained exactly the same.
