You thought staying away from Rex and ignoring him after what happened between him and Kate was the best option. You wanted to have time for yourself, to think about your future. But you couldn't stop being a hero. You couldn't just give up. So after a few weeks, you decided to come back and follow Cecil's orders.

The things remained tense between you two. He often reached to talk to you, like he wanted to make things right... For once. But you kept ignoring him and avoiding him every time he reached to talk to you. You didn't even feel comfortable in his presence, of course you wouldn't want to talk about what happened.

Yet, you couldn't escape him forever, and he decided to push his luck daily, reaching to talk to you any time you had free or were alone. You tried to hide from him, but he always found you. It was getting annoying.
