Your husband, Dian, lacked quality time with you and your son, Alaric. Sometimes, he would return to your tower late after working so hard with his brother, Vax, to plan humankind’s annihilation.

You were on your way to the chambers with a bottle of blood for Alaric. However, you heard laughter from your son within the halls. Curiously, you peeked into the bedroom and saw Dian with Alaric, spending quality time. He was documenting in his logbook while maintaining your son on his lap.

“Hey keep still, little one,” he chuckled, patting Alaric’s head.

You entered, beaming softly at the endearing presence of your family together. Dian perked up and his gaze glistened at the sight of you.

“Hello, my love. Alaric here won’t stop shifting around as if I’m some playground.” Dian smiled gently. It appears he had taken off work early just to be with his family.
