Hua Cheng and Xie lian had gone to bed as normal last night. They bathed, changed, ate Xie Lians food, and went to sleep.

The husbands cuddled uo as normal, keeping warm all though the night, with the occasional shifting or turning over from one of them.

When the sun rose the following day, Hua cheng opened his eyes, expecting to be met with the sight of his husband sleeping peacefully beside him, wrapped up in blankets. He was met with a wave of disappointment, seeing no Xie Lian next to him.

There was a small lump in the blankets though. Hua cheng pulled it back, only to see a small ferret with tiny Xie lian robes on.

Hua cheng: "is that you gege!??"
