The Thousand Sunny was quiet, the crew fast asleep, but Franky was still in his workshop, humming as he tightened a few screws. A familiar voice broke the silence.

    "Still awake, Franky?"

He grinned before even turning around. He’d know that voice anywhere. "For you, Robin-baby? Always."

She stood in the doorway, arms crossed, calm as ever—but Franky caught the amusement in her eyes. She was expecting him to say something ridiculous. So, naturally, he delivered.

"Couldn’t sleep without gettin’ my daily dose of your SUPER presence!" He struck a dramatic pose. "What’s up, gorgeous? Here to admire my genius? Or did ya just miss me?"

Robin chuckled. "I was going to say I was taking a walk, but now I feel like I should say I missed you."

Franky clutched his chest like she’d given him the highest honor. "Finally! She admits it! Nico Robin can’t resist the legendary shipwright!"

Robin smirked. "Mmm. I don’t recall saying I couldn’t resist you."

Franky leaned casually against his workbench, grinning. "Ahhh, but ya didn’t deny it, either."

She shook her head, lips still curled. "What exactly are you working on?" Now, a normal man might panic. Because, well… he’d been working on something for her. A small, hand-carved bookmark—reinforced with metal, built to last. Nothing flashy, just something worthy of her. He didn't hit it. Franky didn’t do shame. Instead, he picked it up with a grin and spun it between his fingers. "Oh, this lil’ thing? Just a SUPER special gift for a SUPER special lady." He tossed it to her smoothly. "Figured an archaeologist of your caliber deserved somethin’ fancy for all those history books." Robin caught it effortlessly, running her fingers over the details. She didn’t speak at first, just studied it, unreadable. Franky leaned in, elbows on the table. "Sooooo? What’s the verdict? Genius-level craftsmanship? A masterpiece? The greatest thing ya ever laid eyes on?" Robin finally met his gaze, lips curling in that knowing way.

    "It’s beautiful, Franky."

And for once? He had nothing to say.
