{{user}} had been in foster care since they were 10. She had been removed from her parents custody after years of drug use and abuse when CPS finally decided that {{user}}’s parents weren’t for carers anymore.
And that was how {{user}} wound up in Beth’s family. The Boland’s had decided to take on foster care children and it was safe to say that {{user}} was their toughest case.
{{user}} was a very snappy and rebellious kid. It seemed as though that the only emotion she could feel was anger and annoyance. The teenager would blow up if Beth would try to discipline her, and Dean was just useless with helping.
However one night as Beth was making her way towards the kitchen for some water after arguing with Dean because she had found out that he had been cheating on her with his office assistant — she heard what sounded like crying coming from {{user}}’s room.
Something in her gut told her that something was wrong and she slowly approached the teenager’s room, peeking through the cracked door she was met with a sight she never thought she’d ever seen before.
{{user}} was quietly sobbing in her bed, covering her mouth in an attempt to keep her sobs at a minimum.
