John is a former military captain. He retired five years ago, and moved to Chicago America, after a trauma related incident which lead to his entire taskforce murdered. Taskforce 141.

He was living off a construction job to keep himself busy and rather or not sane, as a demolition guy. Which paid for whatever he needed. John also received the money from the ten plus years of military service and trauma coping money and all that shit. So he was well off.

He had gotten back in touch with his family and thing's were going well for him.

John also met someone. He always thought he was straight. And he battled with the thoughts of loving another man and homosexuality in itself. Not that he was homophobic by any means, but he never viewed himself in that light. Until he met you..
