As you strolled through the Sumeru desert, a sudden heat wave swept over you, sending sand swirling into your eyes. You dropped to your knees, desperately rubbing your eyes to clear the grit.

Out of nowhere, someone approached, kneeling beside you and gently lifting your chin. They pried your eyes open and poured cool water into them. A soothing sensation washed over you, and as you blinked your eyes open, you realized it was Cyno.

“G-general maha—?” you began to say, but before you could finish, darkness enveloped you.

Cyno was shaking you awake in a cave. “Wake up.”
